AsHuman Resources Generalistyouwill be thecentral point of contact for data collection, co-ordination of HR programs such as colleagues surveys, colleagues recognition, performance appraisals, including follow-up and reporting of results, provide limited analysis and summary of data as requested, assist recruitment, and perform a variety of administrative support duties. DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Talent resourcing: Assist in recruiting and staffing logistics Download CVs from the system and shortlist positions for JB 8-10 Assist in 1st level candidate screening, interview and perform reference check and education verifications for JB 8-10 Preparing Offer Letter for JB 8-10 Provides support in new arrivals pick up, preparation of Welcome Pack and coordinating with the Accommodation Manager in ensuring that rooms and amenities are organized and prepared Organize and conduct Hotel Tour & Doha City Tour for new joiners (as required). Assist with HR orientation/onboarding process Liaises with relevant embassies on recruitment and employee welfare issues Processes all confirmed colleagues offers in relation to entry visas, ensuring that a weekly update is provided to the Personnel/HR Manager. HR Administration: Coordinate with designated travel agency and the employee on colleagues travel requests; assist in booking vacation, emergency and business travel arrangements. Assist with the hotels official bank to organize new pay cards for colleagues and opening bank account for supervisors and managers as per hotel policy. Follow on any staff request in relation to bank transaction and requests. Prepare letters requested by colleagues for various official and personal purposes like (embassy issues, bank, car licenses, liquor licenses etc.) Responsible for updating HR notice boards and for marketing internal events and promotions by preparing innovative poster caign Ensure end of service transactions is prepared and be accurate. Liaise with finance for payment of end of service as per exit schedule. Conversant with all tasks of the HR Administration, including CivilSoft Maintain and control office supplies, stocks and issue them as required. Maintain colleagues personal files for new joiners, existing employees and leavers Contribute with preparation of HR monthly reports Government Relation: Assist in preparing the necessary documentation required for issues with immigration, such as the residence permit applications, RP renewals, and applications for work visas, including medical examination, finger prints and labour department. Assist in acquiring documents to arrange tourist visa applications for all entertainers to support Visa Officer. Arranges all exit visas following the related P&P and communicating details to appropriate parties at least 72 hours prior to departure, or in case of emergency leave at the earliest possible opportunity Assist in dealing with issues in relation to the hotel operations, from any Ministries, any Government departments or Owning Company to support visa officer. Keeps the HR team updated on any changes in local law or legislation Learning & Development: Assists in the preparation of materials (such as certificates, awards, gifts, etc.) and presentation for any events specifically monthly team meetings. Assist L&D with employee training programs and special events, including: preparing manuals/materials and supplies, updating and coordinating calendars, room set up, system access, tracking participation, and center set up for special incentives and events. Perform a variety of L&D administrative support duties as assigned. Prepare charts, presentation data, or logs as required and according to established specifications. Answer inquiries related to daily activities of work area, and act as a liaison between assigned work area and internal and external contacts to convey appropriate information.
