The Apprentice will undertake the varied work experience across the business. You will learn all required skills for your future career by doing different work duties whilst undertaking and achieving the required qualification. Once you have completed all the relevant training your performance will be evaluated.Loading of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) kits in preparation for placement machine buildAssisting SMT team with production build using pick and place machineryInspecting manufactured PCBAs through SMT assembly and to gain an understanding of the AOI equipmentComponent insertion on PCBA during the pre-flow processSoldering built PCBAs using both; Flow Solder and Selective soldering machinery within Pre-flowHand soldering leaded components within Hand Assembly process Reworking manufacturing defects post-flow solderingPreparing componentry for PCBA build and mechanical final assemblies including wire Prep and cable assemblies.Electro-mechanical assembly within the Final Assembly process of production.Working within a flow-line to assembly mechanical final assemblies. Testing Mechanical final-assemblies using ATE.
