The right candidate will already be a member of the food and drink scene with existing relationships that can help position the brands. The job requires an outgoing personality that relishes customer interaction and has a high appreciation for premium spirits and the brand owners. Brand appreciation extends beyond the brands and their owners, to the leading culture of the affluent bar scene within vacancy locations and recognize the brand and working territory for its unique character and influence. 1. Main Job Purpose a) Implement & execute the operational field strategy for the On-Trade Channel b) Callage on selected Gold priority Free Trade/Leased &Tenanted (non-tie on spirits) On-Trade outlets to sell in portfolio of 6 core products, with prospecting to gap fill in current stockists c) Drive distribution, visibility and volume within those outlets & help educate decision makers and staff around commercial proposition to maximise profit via pricing, up sell etc d) Deliver a return on investment within the overall operation & a defined geographical territory 1. Major Responsibilities/Activities a) To grow client distribution, volume sales and profitability within the on-trade channel by achieving targets for * product distribution & visibility - by presenting compelling sales propositions and selling in brand stories * brand activation - staff training, sampling and possible customer events b) Use supplied POS to maximise visibility of products and thus increase sales . c) To complete visits as per your journey plan - 8-10 effective calls per day (where decision makers are met) Working hours: due to trading hours within the channel, hours will typically be within opening times e.g. 10am-7pm/12pm-9pm with occasional weekends, where required (mainly for outlet events mentioned below d) To build external relationships with key stakeholders and outlet staff and to track activity e) Complete feedback on every call using the given reporting procedure after each call, maintaining up to date records 1. Working Relationships With: a) Decision Makers e.g. Owners & Bar Managers b) Field Sales Manager c) Account Managers * Good communication & influencing skills * Flexible on working hours, which will include evenings and the occasional weekend * Computer literate * Minimum 6 months On-Trade/ Drinks sales experience or similar * Experience of working within a team environment. * Experience managing own time * Proven knowledge of bar scene within area of work * Determination to achieve & willingness to continually learn * Proven record of demonstrating initiative & delivering results * Clean driving licence
