Business Development Manager - Software Testing Services Company Manchester Based Our UK and off shore teams provide comprehensive software testing services from Test Strategy through to Test Summary Reports for go-live and software implementation of mobile, browser and desktop apps along with supporting or stand alone web services. The successful applicant will unlock the potential for growth at Thomas Consulting UK by expanding its presence in the market place a through contemporary means of marketing. Once a potential client has responded to your enquiries you will actively nurture the commercial relationship, introducing our skilled Test personnel into the process of the two companies forming a mutually beneficial partnership. Your Main Responsibilities In consultation with the Managing and Technical Directors drive and achieve Sales revenue targets. Identify, develop and maximise business opportunities within the target market developing highly effective relationships. Build effective internal working relationships with key colleagues to deliver test excellence to our clients. Provide market insights and with knowledge of the test process and through discussions with prospective and existing clients. Perform necessary activities and to generate leads, qualify them and convert them into new business Ideal Candidate Demonstrable proven experience in business development with a relevant qualification in the areas of market or business management. A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a BDM. Experience in of working with software development professionals. Sales and relationship management experience. A self starter, able to take ownership on setting agendas and priorities and deliver results against them with minimal requirement marketing and sales support. Capable of integrating into a pre-sales and sales technical team to advise on presentation and documentation content to enhance the sales process resulting winning new business and extending business with existing clients. High energy, drive and enthusiasm. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of persuasive communication, verbally and in writing. Creative and proactive approach to Business Development and Client management. Proven organisational ability and capable driving change through successful implementation of initiatives. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint or other presentation tool. Additional Information.
