Customer Development Executive - Unilever Ice Cream TeamTerritory covers East Midlands area (Derby/Coventry/Leicester)Maternity cover contract (Jan to Dec 2019) We help big brands sell more. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you’ll be helping global brands - such as, Unilever, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Kimberly Clark, Kerry Foods, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard – deliver their key sales and marketing strategies. You’ll find yourself part of a friendly and supportive team and will always have the opportunity to take ownership of tasks and demonstrate your ideas and initiative. The Role As a Customer Development Executive, you will be working within the leisure channel (such as swimming pools and leisure facilities with on-site cafes) and be responsible for opening up opportunities and growing sales of Unilever Ice Cream (specifically, the Wall’s, Carte D’or and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream brands). As part of this role, you will work with a portfolio of existing customers. However, you will also be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities (this will involve cold calling), negotiating contracts and joint business plans. You will regularly review performance of ice cream within the sites that you have opened up and work closely with the on-site decision makers to increase sales. You will also develop and maintain commercial relationships with Head Office (Unilever) contacts, agreeing ranging and visibility solutions and then clearly communicate these execution requirements to individual customer sites.
