Film Daily is a new online platform connecting audiences with indie filmmakers via news, views, and reviews.

We are a scrappy new media startup aiming to disrupt the film distribution and production industries. We work with amazing, storied clients and new emerging technologies & agencies.

We are looking for a versatile, hard-working Executive Assistant to join our team. You will be working to support our CEO & CTO in making sure their working days run as smooth as silk. No two days will ever be the same working for this emerging new media startup. One day, you’re at a press event meeting and greeting the Hollywood elite, the next you’re on location with set designers, and the next you’re tooling around on an Excel spreadsheet handling research for our brand.
We’re looking for someone who wants to grow into a leader and is willing to put in the hard work to get there. You will be committed to maintaining excellent relationships with our clients and our growing team. Organisation is not only your strong point, but your passion. You will create systems, protocols, and procedures, and organise the chaos of a dynamic media company daily.
You will be one of the most important persons in our organisation – our success depends on your excellence.
Day-to-day role
Relationship management: meet and greet visitors, answer phones, respond to emails on behalf of yourself & CEO
Create meeting agendas; take and distribute meeting minutes
Generate leads & manage databases with our support team
Craft fun, professional, instructive emails to team members &partners
Diary management for directors: keeping track of schedule & herding them into meetings/phone calls
Use CMS to update company site & tools
Researching & reporting on subjects relevant to our business
Create & maintain documentation for external & internalpurposes
Administrate contracts, invoices, P&Ls, and communication
Work with senior managers on strategic work
Manage janitorial staff, ensure cleanliness of the workplace
Assist with event organization & management
CEO’s social media management
Book travel
Handle some online shopping
Assure studio is stocked with janitorial & stationeryequipment
Arrange & schedule meetings
Handle staff communication, requests, and holiday approval
Personal tasks for the director(s)
Online community management
