About the role

The key responsibilities will include reviewing and processing financial transactions and assist in the production of monthly and weekly reports for management. This will include, reconciliation & analysis, production of weekly/monthly sales invoices and supporting schedules, general sales ledger duties and posting cash transactions. The successful candidate will also participate in system based and accounting projects as well as system development and process improvement.

About you

The successful applicant must be AAT qualified and/or studying for the CIMA/ACCA or to be able to demonstrate the same standard of accounting by experience. Having a flexible approach to working hours, especially at month/years end and possessing strong system skills, particularly MS Excel and Access is essential. Good attention to detail whilst working with high volumes of data and generating high value transactions. The successful candidate must be adaptable, show initiative and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team and have the ability to learn new skills quickly.
