Job Overview Under the guidance and direction of the Health Club Manager, within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group Brand and local policies and procedures, attends to all guests needs within Health Club facility. Ensures that customer satisfaction is the key driver for all sales initiatives and strategies. Ensures a high level of exposure both within the hotel and in local market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone contacts and written communications. Ensures standards of excellence in performance is achieved both within sales related responsibilities and as an ambassador for sales with other team players throughout the hotel Duties and Responsibilities To achieve daily targeted level of telemarketing calls. To handle guests/members membership sales. To take on tasks delegated by Operations Manager. To handle general telephone/fax or walk-in inquiries and discuss with operations manager. To do telemarketing / sales calls. Update account listings for mailing purpose including e-mail & fax blitz. To work hand-in-hand with health club promotions/packages. To ensure the club rate structure is adhered to at all times. Must be update to date with the market rates / strategies. People: Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and provisions of the property. Comply with the company grooming standards Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development Guest experience: Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including: o Being attentive to Guests o Accurately and promptly fulfilling Guests requests o Anticipate Guests needs o Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the Guest experience o Demonstrating a service attitude o Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers Responsible business: Identify operational problems that reduce the effectiveness of marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance and work with appropriate department on solutions. Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community. Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty. Qualifications and requirements Previous sales experience is an advantage Knowledge with the Kuwait market Bilingual (mother tongue Arabic) Strong Interpersonal Skills High Level of Self-discipline Flexible on working hours Knowledge and Experience in Sales field To be able to understand & communicate in English
