Your rights


You have the right with regard to your personal data to request information, correction, deletion or restriction in accordance with statutory provisions. We also provide you with your data in a structured, common and machine-readable format. If we use your information based on your consent, you may revoke your consent at any time and request the deletion of such information. After the revocation, we use your data no longer for this purpose. If we have a legitimate interest in processing your data, you may object to this contact information. Irrespective of this, you can always contact the relevant supervisory authorities.

Your right to object


If your personal data are based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. DS-GVO are processed, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, as far as there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation. In case of a legitimate objection, we will no longer process the personal data.

Deleting data


Insofar as your data are no longer required for the purposes mentioned or if their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons, we will delete them. Excluded from this are exclusively lawfully collected data which we are obliged to keep for legal reasons. Please note that with every deletion the data are initially only blocked and finally deleted with a time delay in order to prevent accidental deletions or possibly intentional damage. For technical reasons, data may be duplicated in backup files and mirroring services. Copies such as these will also be deleted, although there might be a technical delay.

How our website collects visitor data


You can visit our websites without giving any personal information. Whenever a web page is accessed, the web server only automatically stores the IP address, date and time of the request, time difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (concrete page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of transmitted data, website, from the requirement comes, browser, operating system and its interface; as well as language and version of the browser software. This data is never stored specifically in your name. These access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site as well as the improvement of our service. Contact form


If you send us an inquiry via our contact forms on the website, we will process the data provided by you so that we can respond to your request. Longer term storage is only held if necessitated by your request. Otherwise, your data will be deleted at the latest after six months.

Newsletter


You can sign up for our newsletter on our website to get information about our job offers (e.g. Job Alert), services and news. We use your specified data within the scope of your given consent for the sending of our newsletter. Non-registered users are registered via a double-opt-in procedure. After entering your data on our website, you will first receive a confirmation email. Registration is only completed after a click in the confirmation email. Registered users can configure their own settings regarding these newsletters. You can object to the sending of our newsletter at any time by either sending an email to us, clicking on the designated unsubscribe link in the newsletter or selecting the appropriate setting yourself.

User registration


You can register on our website and create an account. Some of the services we provide may only be available to registered users (for example, the displaying of paid ads on our website). In doing so, we collect the data you have provided in order to process the registration process. By registering you confirm that you are at least 16 years old. The amount of data depends on your information and results from the input masks. After a deregistration, the storage period is based on the legal retention periods.

Data collection and use for contract execution


We collect personal information if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order, when contacting us (for example, by contact form or email) or when opening a customer account. Obligatory fields are marked as such, since in these cases we need the data for contract execution, or to process your contact or to open your customer account; and we cannot complete the order and/or open the account without your information, or cannot send the contact. Payment processing


Payment is handled by our partner Adyen BV, Simon Carmiggelstraat 6 - 50, 1011 DJ Amsterdam. To prevent and detect fraud, we will send your IP address to our partner Adyen BV, Simon Carmiggelstraat 6 - 50, 1011 DJ Amsterdam. Your IP address will be stored by Adyen BV. All data required for billing will be encrypted. The amount of data depends on your information and results from the input masks. You provide the payment data directly to Adyen. Gigajob cannot see the provided data for payment processing. You can give your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the contact details, revoked. Right to object

Comments and posts


If a comment or other contributions in the Gigajob forum is left, details at the time of the input as well as the selected username (pseudonym) are also stored and published. Furthermore, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of the user assigned IP address is logged. This storage of the IP address is made for security reasons and in the event that the user violates the rights of third parties or publishes unlawful contents by means of a submitted comment. There is no disclosure of this personal data to third parties unless such disclosure is not required by law or the legal defence of the controller.

We offer you the opportunity to sign up for our service with Facebook Connect. An additional registration is, therefore, not possible.
