• Liaise with clients and medical aid schemes. • Phoning medical aids for available benefits. • Sending of quotations, motivations and audiograms to medical aids and following up on quotations. • Invoicing to medical aids and following up of payments. • Chasing customers for payments. • Raising purchase and sales invoices and posting to ledger. • Matching of purchases made and sales. • Sending out of statements. • Writing up of cash book and reconciling to bank statement. • Ensuring that all expense claims are processed and paid on time. • Preparing monthly accounts. • Preparing of trial balance for month end. • Preparing of small monthly salaries and PAYE returns. • VAT returns every second month. • Half yearly and yearly reconciliation of PAYE returns to SARS. • Processing of general ledger. • Designing of adverts and placing adverts in paper and social media. • Commenting on social media everyday as part of adverting. • Answering of phones and marking appointments. • Preparing of balance sheet, all reconciliations and personal tax to be sent to the accountant for year end submission to SARS. • Any other duties that may arise in the smooth running of the practice.
