• Facilitate the development of employees in the divisions in line with strategies of the organisation, legal requirements and the demographics of the company but always acting equally and fairly.

• Facilitate the entire learnership and apprenticeship programme from recruitment to final trade tests including administration and checking all SETA documentation before submitting in accordance with regulatory and SETA requirements before deadline.

• Submission of the ATR and advise the division heads on the implementation of the WSP before deadline. Represent the division and to communicate with internal and external parties as the Training Facilitator.

• Develop a preferred Training Service Providers listing to cover all the company training requirements. Evaluate the skills development needs of the employees and the organisation and continually evaluate the implementation of identified needs.

• Advise the division on external and internal skills strategies as well as the progress of the skills development of the division.

• Be on the Employment Equity and Training committee and lead the process of divisional skills development and employee development.

• Obtain your SDF certification and other required training certifications. Advise the division on the quality assurance requirements of the relevant SETA.

• Bring the division policies in line with the regulations as laid down by the Skills Development Act and ensure the division is meeting the required regulatory standards and laws.

• Assist in the development and monitoring of the performance management system required in order to obtain the division ISO certifications.

• Generate the key performance areas relevant to training and development for the performance management system. Create a portfolio of evidence for all employees that will receive training in the company.

• Formalise the qualifications of employees through recognition of prior learning. Train employed staff in order to claim the skills development levies from the SETA.

• Claim their skills development levies from their SETA and claim tax rebates as stipulated for Learners hips.

• Contribute to the division BEE Skills Development Skill scorecard.

• Attend meetings and seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.

• Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen. Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.

• Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness. Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.

• Organize, develop and present internal training where required. Supervise instructors, evaluate instructor performance, and refer instructors to classes for skills development.

• Conduct Internal Audits for different departments in line with ISO standards.

• Administer the monthly payroll for +-31 employees and prepare the data to be submitted to head office

• Managing all starters, leavers and monitoring employee detail changes paper work

• Reconciliation of general ledger payroll accounts and management reporting
