Leadership and Performance Management of Regional Sales Management team

Sales Targets and budgets
Responsible for delivering the profitability and achievement of regional sales budget
Results Orientation - Ensure the overall profitability of the business, with specific accountability for the delivery of volume, margin and sales targets to effectively deliver the current business performance contract and pro-actively drive growth in line with the strategic aspiration. Infiltrate customers at all levels and develop relationships with commercial and non-commercial accounts that enable achievement of sales plans, strategies and objectives to increase market footprint

Commercial Strategy Planning and Execution,
Drive the execution of the national strategic sales plan for the Business Unit to regional team to ensure delivery of brand, category management and customer objectives are achieved whilst ensuring the delivery of agreed profits, demand and supply targets are met. Quarterly and Annual Forecasting, Promotions, Merchandising and Evaluation of Commercial Activities. Provide recommendations and feedback to General Manager on customer activity plans and outcomes.

Customer Relationship Management
Relationship with key partners – Identify, define, establish and maintain influential relationships with key business partners and value opinion leaders teams to deliver an enhanced end-to- end customer experience within their stores. Proactively resolving business issues, chasing trends to ensure sustainable sales and repeated commercial business within our marketplace. Identify revenue opportunities within assigned accounts attending relevant sales exhibitions and conferences,

Negotiation Techniques, Influencing and Partnering
Contract negotiations and closure at boardroom level for multi-nationals, using strong persuasive techniques to close deals, manage trading terms, price, shelf space and promotions. Operating as the lead point of contact between Safetop and our business partners at senior retail level. Introducing new products, promotions and services. Understanding how their core business align with our business offering and driving a win-win solutions. Investigate and manage complaints/claims to minimize financial loss.

Product and competitor performance analysis
Keep abreast of market, trade and competitor activities in order to revise strategies to meet changing requirements. Identify key product trends, market opportunities and threats. Implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; and implementing change To manage the marketing function to ensure the creation and communication of the segment strategy in line with the overall business strategy and by using customer feedback, data, functional feedback, competitor and industry activity to identify and target new growth segments and develop offers that deliver maximum business value.

Retail /consumer behaviour awareness, analysis and responsiveness
Evaluation of commercial activities, identify key trends (e.g. product, environment, processes, people) and influence plans to increase selling and customer growth opportunities in the business unit. Ensuring team effectively manages portfolio of customers

Develop Market Information, Budgets, Forecasts, Business Planning, Partnership Agreements
Ensuring all new offers are fully implemented across to achieve maximum business value by managing associated regional sales activities and interfaces with the other customer segments in their region.
