The Leadership Program Manager supports and guide the strategy for all CCF youth leadership programs that advance community service, service learning and leadership development. They manage all aspects of youth leadership programs and facilitate a network of youth leaders and youth practitioners.
The person will responsible for:
Program Strategy
● Develop overall youth leadership program strategies with clearly defined outputs and outcomes in line with CCF priorities and goals
● Develop and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand youth leadership programming and impact
● Collaborate effectively across core programs and with external stakeholders to increase program reach
Program Management
● Refine, deliver and evaluate the youth leadership training curriculum, incorporating effective practices in program delivery and sustainability
● Manage all aspects of youth leadership trainings including planning, outreach and recruitment, logistics, and post training communications and engagement
● Facilitate a community and network of external facilitators and alumni (youth leaders)
● Manage youth leadership grant programs and scholarships including relationship management, tracking progress of activities, financial reporting and evaluation support
● Manage all budgets associated with youth leadership programs
● Manage the integration of youth leaders in programming planning, implementation, and evaluation as well as in peer to peer coaching
● Initiate and plan youth and adult volunteer initiatives, public art projects, community forums, and intergenerational events
● Ensure smooth operations of the leadership program by providing top- notch project management, including an organized system of prioritizing and tracking tasks and projects; maintaining and growing program partnerships; driving applicant outreach and overseeing selection; updating program materials and coordinating logistics and events
Leadership Program Deliverables
● Collaborate on developing the curriculum for the CCF Leadership Program including immersion in leadership training and year-round opportunities to build skills in leadership, communications, community engagement and knowledge of global issues
● Oversee the Leadership Program activities related to community outreach projects and participatory opportunities
● Embed youth leadership training in authentic, meaningful projects that youth define and implement
● Develop basic youth leadership skills in communications, facilitation, teamwork, and understanding of change-making processes
● Prepare youth for success in real leadership positions, including as mentors, grant-makers and evaluators within youth-serving organizations as well as on school and community leadership teams where possible and appropriate
Reporting and Performance Analysis
● Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of youth leadership programs and to identify areas for improvement and expansion
● Oversee the collection, compilation, and analysis of data to evaluate programs and prepare evaluation and program reports
● Manage a diverse team comprised of full time employees, interns, and/ or individuals engaged in youth development / service activities Develop the competencies and confidence of team members through coaching, professional development and effective management skill
Key Selection Criterial:
● Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work
● Bachelor degree in development, education, leadership, management or related field
● At least 5 years relevant experience with demonstrated success in youth development program management
● Experience in tracking record of building, managing and reporting on program budgets
● Strong attention to detail, organizational, project management, facilitation, problem solving skills
● Very strong, collaborative style with the ability to effectively and efficiently work across programs, internal departments, and external stakeholders
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and Khmer
● Ability to work flexibly and balance both long-term and short-term projects and planning
● Unwavering integrity, ethics, and sound judgment; comfortable with an open and transparent work environment
● High compassion and commitment to work with community people and poor children.
